Quark Print Collection

Installing Quark Print Collection on Windows®

1. Quit QuarkXPress® or QuarkXPress Passport® and Adobe® Acrobat® Professional.
2. Double-click the setup.exe icon. The Quark Print Collection - Setup dialog box displays.
   
   
   
3. Click Next. The License Agreement screen displays.
4. Read the license agreement carefully. If you accept the terms of the agreement, click I accept the terms in the license agreement. If you do not accept the terms, click I do not accept the terms in the license agreement.
   NOTE You must accept the terms of the license agreement to continue.
   
   
   
5. Click Next. The Software Verification screen displays.
   • To install a fully functional copy of the software using a validation code, click Install Quark Print Collection Full Version, and then enter the validation code provided in the product packaging.
   • To install a fully functional copy of the software that expires after 30 days, click Install Quark Print Collection Evaluation Version.
   
   
   
6. Click Next. The User Registration Information screen displays.
7. Enter your user information.
   
   
   
8. Click Next. The Setup Type screen displays.
• Choose Complete to install all of the Quark Print Collection files.
• Choose Custom and then click Next to install only the files you select.
  
  
  
9. If you click Custom and then click Next, the Customer Setup dialog box displays. Click the disclosure boxes to see individual installable items. Click an item to see its description in the Feature Description area. Click the drop-down menu next to each item name and choose an option:
   • This feature will be installed on local hard drive.
   • This feature, and all subfeatures, will be installed on local hard drive.
   • This feature will not be available.
10. Click Next. The Ready to Install the Program screen displays.
    
    
    
11. Click Install. A progress bar indicates the progress of the installation.
12. A dialog box displays asking if you want to register your copy of Quark Print Collection online.
    • Click Yes to register your copy of Quark Print Collection online.
    • Click No to register your copy of Quark Print Collection at a later date.
    NOTE Clicking Yes directs you to the Quark Web site to register your copy of Quark Print Collection online. After you have completed the online registration process, close the browser window to finish the installation of Quark Print Collection.
    
    
    
13. Click Finish when the installer notifies you that installation is complete.
    
    
    
14. Launch QuarkXPress.
15. Select an activation option.
    • Choose Activate automatically using internet (Recommended) to activate automatically using the internet.
    • Choose Obtain Activation Code over the Internet to fill out an online form to activate Quark Print Collection. An installation code will be generated by the software. The installation code can be copied from Quark Print Collection and pasted in to the Retrieve activation or re-activation code Web page. The installation code is used to retrieve an activation code. The action code can be copied from the Web page and pasted in to the Quark Print Collection Product Action dialog box.
    • Choose Enter Activation code if you already have an activation code.
    • Choose Try Quark Print Collection to try Quark Print Collection for 30 days.
      
      
      
16. Click Continue.
