Quark License Administrator (QLA) is a server-based, license management system. When you purchase two or more licenses of a Quark application,
QLA, which is included with the application, simplifies the installation and maintenance of the application on multiple computers.
There are three main steps to installing QLA:
NOTE You must run the QLA Server software on a computer with a fixed IP address.
Enter your system name and password.

Click OK. The Welcome dialog box displays

Check Install as Service if you want QLA to be installed as a service. If you do not want to have QLA installed as a service, uncheck the Install as Service check box.

Check Register and Download a License file. A browser window will open later to download the license file.

Click Agree. NOTE You must accept the terms of the license agreement to continue.

The Select Destination dialog box displays.

Click Continue. The Installation Type dialog box displays.

Click Install. The Computer Specifications dialog box displays.
NOTE You will use the information in the Computer Specifications dialog box
when you register for the QLA license file on the Internet. Write down this information for quick reference.

Click OK. The Computer Specifications dialog box closes.

During the QLA Server installation process, a browser window will open after you click Install in the Installation Type dialog box. You must
download this license file before you can use QLA to regulate license usage on your network. After you download this license file, you must place
it in the QLA Server application folder.

If you already have an account, enter your user name and password. Click Continue. Skip to step 7 of the installation instructions.

If you do not have an account, you need to create one. Click New Account. Follow the next steps for setting up your account.

You will need this user name and password if you want to download and/or change your
license file in the future. Note that this is a separate user name and password from the user name and password assigned in QLA Server.

Accounting and System administrator e-mail addresses
You can enter up to ten system administrator e-mail addresses, separated by semicolons. When choosing the e-mail addresses, Quark recommends
that you use a company or department address such as SystemAdmin@company.com rather than an individual’s address.

Click the Ethernet tab.

Click Scan.
