Learn how QuarkXPress Server clients, system integrators, and developers benefit from dynamic publishing technology.
Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC), one of the largest hospitals in the Midwest, worked with software services company Digicomp and Quark to automate the creation and management of its forms. By implementing an on-demand publishing solution, FormsX Server powered by QuarkXPress Server, HCMC was liberated from a proprietary, paper-based system and eliminated the need for creating, printing, and storing tens of thousands of pieces of paper that required frequent updates. The new print-on-demand system paid for itself in only eight months, and the hospital estimates that it saves them about $50,000 a year. HCMC now creates forms in-house and revising a form, a process which used to take three to four weeks, is accomplished in three days – including revisions, approvals, and printing.
