Following is a list of issues resolved in Quark Interactive Designer™ 1.01.
High-resolution images that covered an entire Interactive layout did not display in the exported SWF file. This issue has been resolved.
Text on a Bézier text path failed to display in an exported SWF file if the path in QuarkXPress® contained overflowing text. This issue has been resolved.
If you created a script that included an action to display other pages, an action to return to the original page, and an action to slide an object, and then assigned the script to an Interactive object using the Run Script action in the Events tab, the Interactive object would not slide in the exported SWF file. This issue has been resolved.
If you had two projects open, and you used the Script tab to assign an action in one project and then used the Script tab to assign the same action in the other project, the Script tab became disabled. This issue has been resolved.
If you navigated from one page of an exported SWF to another and then back to the original page, the values of variables would be lost. This issue has been resolved.
If the path to an external file was 70 characters or more, the Usage dialog box in QuarkXPress would display the file as “Missing.” This issue has been resolved.
Image sequences used in a Presentation layout were not exported to an SWF file if you performed the following steps:
Select an Animation object that uses an Image Sequence layout in a Presentation layout.
In the Object tab of the Interactive palette, choose None in the Path drop-down menu.
In QuarkXPress, choose Edit > Undo Change Interactive Object to undo the change.

This issue has been resolved.
Object actions assigned to a group of On/Off buttons did not work. This issue has been resolved.
Mac OS® only: If you referred to a sound file using the Choose option, and the path to the sound file contained three or more consecutive special characters, the sound file would not export. This issue has been resolved.
If a vector EPS image was moved in its picture box after import, the image would not display in an exported file. This issue has been resolved.
If a Slide Object action and a transition effect occurred on an Interactive object at the same time, the transition did not work properly. For example, the transition for a Cover or Uncover effect would occur from bottom to top instead of top to bottom. This issue has been resolved.
When you referred to an SWF file using the Choose option, QuarkXPress would unexpectedly quit if version 9.0.28 of the Flash® plugin was installed. This issue has been resolved.
A custom icon that increased the file size was added to exported SWF files. The icon is no longer added to exported SWF files.
If a Window object contained a Composition Zones™ item, any objects and actions in the Composition Zones item would not work. This issue has been resolved.
If you opened a project containing an Image Sequence layout that was used in the main layout, and you changed the name of the Image Sequence layout and then saved and closed the project, the name of the Image Sequence layout did not update in the main project. This issue has been resolved.
Scripts were not alphabetically sorted in the Page tab. This issue has been resolved.
If you referred to an SWF or video file using the Choose option, the SWF or video file would not be included if you exported the project as a Projector file. This issue has been resolved.
If you viewed a Print layout in thumbnail view in one window and a Presentation layout in thumbnail view in another window, and then dragged a page from the Print layout to the Presentation layout, QuarkXPress would unexpectedly quit when you previewed or exported the Presentation layout to an SWF file. This issue has been resolved.
If you assigned the Open Project action to an SWF object, and then chose File > Choose to refer to an SWF file, the SWF file you selected was not included in the exported SWF file. This issue has been resolved.
Uninstalling Quark Interactive Designer deleted the SWF Filter and SWF Toolkit XTensions modules. This issue has been resolved.
Mac OS only: If you imported an SWF file created in Quark Interactive Designer into an SWF object, the imported SWF file did not display completely in the SWF object. This issue has been resolved.
If you used an expression in a layout, closed and opened the project, and then exported the layout to an SWF file, the expression did not work in the exported SWF file. Such expressions included: TextBox.Append, NuToStr, Number.Int, NumericArray.Sum, NumericArray.max, NumericArray.min, Array.insert, Array.remove, String.EqualIgnorecase, String.Reverse, String.Left, String.Right, String.StringtoNum, String.trim, Number.isInfinite, and Number.Sgn. This issue has been resolved.
If you exported a large Interactive layout as an SWF file, QuarkXPress unexpectedly quit. This issue has been resolved.
