Output Enhancement XTensions software 2.0 Known Issues
Following is a list of issues discovered in Output Enhancements XTensions software for QuarkCopyDesk® 7.0:
Mac OS® 10.4.8 and Windows® XP: If you choose Edit > Output Profiles, select New > Output to PDF,
click the Headers pane and check Show Page Header, click the Header Placement pane and choose
Page Height > Document Height + Page Header Height, and then use the output profile to create a PDF, the page does not output correctly.
Mac OS® 10.4.8: If you use an output profile to create a PDF or XML file and you specify a name for the output file that matches the article
file name (and you specify the same folder in which the article is stored), a warning message indicates that the file already exists and prompts you to replace
the file.
Workaround: Enter ".pdf" or ".xml" at the end of the file name to avoid the conflict.
If QuarkCopyDesk® unexpectedly quits after you have created one or more output profiles, the output profiles are not saved.
Workaround: Quit and relaunch QuarkCopyDesk® after you create output profiles.
If you choose Edit > Output Profiles and then click Import in the Output Profiles dialog box, you can
also select output profile groups in the list and click Open. If you use the same version of QuarkCopyDesk for importing and exporting, the
Import Conflict dialog box indicates that the output profile group is an output profile that you can rename, automatically rename, or use
instead of the existing output profile. However, if you click Save and then reopen the Output Profiles dialog box, the output
profile group does not display. The same problem occurs when you select an output profile in the Output Profile Groups dialog box.
Windows® XP: The Edit and Duplicate buttons are incorrectly activated when you select multiple output profiles
in the Output Profiles dialog box by clicking on the top profile in the list, holding Shift, and clicking a profile lower in the list.
Workaround: Select output profiles from the bottom of the list.
