Following is a list of issues discovered in the QuarkCopyDesk® 7.4.
(Mac® OS only): When you change your Redline preference for insertions and deletions while logged on to QPS Server, the preference change does not display immediately.
Using the Enhanced Output XT XTensions software for QuarkCopyDesk, if you create an XML output profile that specifies replacing special characters, the characters are not replaced correctly.
If you export a QuarkCopyDesk article in MS Word 2000 format, not all of the formatting is preserved in the export file.
(Windows only): If you set your monitor resolution to 120 dpi, information in the Preferences dialog box does not display correctly.
(Mac OS 10.5.2 only): If you display a multiple-component article in Galley view with the Redline toolbar displayed at its default location, you cannot collapse or expand all components.
(Mac OS only): You cannot use File > PDF to create a PDF from a QuarkCopyDesk article with more than 60 characters in the file name.
Page pictures do not display when you move a QuarkCopyDesk article across platforms, edit the article, save and close it, and then reopen the article.
Master page guides from QuarkXPress® layouts do not display correctly in QuarkCopyDesk because only the guides from A-Master A are included, even when a component falls on a master page other than A-Master A.
If the text of an article assigned from a QuarkXPress text box does not fit in the space, the text overset symbol displays in QuarkXPress, but the symbol does not display when a user opens the article in QuarkCopyDesk. Note: This also occurs in QPS Web Hub.
If you use File > Save As to create a copy of a QuarkCopyDesk article with a page picture, the page picture does not display after you save, close, and reopen the article copy.
If you change the measurement unit for reporting text overset and underset (QuarkCopyDesk/Edit > Preferences > Characteristics), the Measurements palette display does not update immediately to show your new preference.
