QuarkCopyDesk 7.4 Issues Resolved

Following is a list of issues resolved in QuarkCopyDesk® 7.4

• RESOLVED: If you open an article that contains multiple text components and then save the article in plain text or “XPress Tags” format (File > Save Text), only the text of the active component is saved.
• RESOLVED: QuarkCopyDesk unexpectedly quits when you add a component with no name or with the same name as an existing component in the article.
• RESOLVED: QuarkCopyDesk and QuarkXPress® unexpectedly quit when you add a note to locked story content.
• RESOLVED: Note text truncates when you output a QuarkCopyDesk article to a printer or PDF file, specify Footnotes or Inline in the Notes pane, and choose Galley from the Print in View drop-down menu in the Article pane.
• RESOLVED: If you assign a QuarkCopyDesk article from a facing-page QuarkXPress layout and text overflows the box, the pages added in QuarkCopyDesk do not maintain the facing-page format.
• RESOLVED: If you click the pasteboard of a QuarkCopyDesk article component that contains multiple notes, the Notes submenu commands do not work.
• RESOLVED: A user’s assigned Redline color is not applied consistently when the user makes changes with Redlining enabled.
• RESOLVED: Text does not display on screen in a timely manner when a QuarkCopyDesk user enters text at a normal speed.
• RESOLVED: Users who do not have the privilege to “View and Edit Notes Created by Other Users” can delete notes created by other users.
• RESOLVED: The Redline colors you specify for insertions and deletions in the Redline pane of the Preferences dialog box are not reflected in WYSIWYG, Full Screen, or Galley view.
• RESOLVED: If you anchor grouped text boxes in a QuarkXPress text box and export a QuarkCopyDesk article based on the text box that contains the anchored group, the content of the anchored boxes cannot be edited in QuarkCopyDesk.
• RESOLVED: Greek text does not hyphenate correctly if a paragraph also contains the text of another language.
• RESOLVED: If you set your screen resolution to 120 dpi, text and palettes do not display correctly on the right side of the article window in Full Screen and Galley views.
• RESOLVED: The Suggested Hyphenation for Russian text in QuarkCopyDesk and QuarkXPress are not identical.
• RESOLVED: The word count in migrated QuarkCopyDesk 3.6 articles that contain redline tracking is not reported accurately in QuarkCopyDesk 7.x.
• RESOLVED: When you install the Notes XT XTensions software for QuarkXPress, the Type drop-down menu in the Runaround tab of the Modify dialog box for a selected picture box displays empty by default and contains only Same as Clipping when you select it.
• RESOLVED: Redline text does not display in QuarkCopyDesk articles that are attached to QuarkXPress 6.5 (or earlier) layouts, and Redline text is not correctly removed when you accept changes.
• RESOLVED: QuarkCopyDesk and QuarkXPress unexpectedly quit when you assign a text box as a QuarkCopyDesk article, share the text box and its contents (Window > Shared Content > Shared Item Properties dialog box), check out the article in QuarkCopyDesk, resize the article assignment text box in QuarkXPress, and then choose Update Geometry.
