QuarkAlliance™ gives you additional resources for faster, enhanced technical support, including the ability to:
- Get the help you need faster through a dedicated program specialist and a priority toll-free number. Your dedicated program specialist is your primary point of contact for all Quark® related issues, including technical support questions. You will receive unlimited technical support during normal business hours.
Leverage the Quark brand and marketing power
QuarkAlliance gives you a variety of marketing resources to increase your visibility and gain business opportunities, including the ability to:
- Assure your customers that you are a Quark authorized training provider by displaying the QuarkAlliance training provider certificate in your facility.
- Promote yourself to customers using Quark products with the QuarkAlliance logo. Use the QuarkAlliance logo in your marketing materials, on your Web site, and in other collateral.
- Help your potential customers find you faster with a listing on the Quark Web site. List your organization, area of expertise, contact information, and Web site.
- Take advantage of other marketing-oriented benefits, such as co-marketing opportunities and certified Master Trainer designation.
Receive discounts, preview releases, and obtain other business support
QuarkAlliance provides you with additional business support and resources, including the opportunity to:
- Qualify for an invitation to preview releases of QuarkXPress® software or to participate in software beta-testing programs.
- Receive discounts on certified training material.
- Receive discounts on one not-for-resale QuarkXPress Lab-Pak or one not-for-resale copy of QuarkXPress software.
- Silver level and higher members can receive one QuarkXPress Lab-Pak or two not-for-resale copies of QuarkXPress software at no additional cost.
- Receive a discount on membership in ServicePlus™. This high-level maintenance program is for users of QuarkXPress or QuarkXPress Passport® software. (Silver level and higher.)

Certification program
The QuarkAlliance Training Provider has three levels of certification:
- Authorized Training Provider: This is the base level of authorization. You automatically receive the Authorized Training Provider designation when you become a QuarkAlliance Training Provider.
- Certified Training Provider: This is the second level available to QuarkAlliance Training Providers. To become certified, you must take the certification test administered by Against the Clock.
- Certified Master Training Provider: This is the highest level of certification available to QuarkAlliance Training Providers. It is available by special invitation from Quark.
Certified Training Provider test
This test is designed to measure proficiency with QuarkXPress and ensures that our QuarkAlliance Certified Training Providers meet the demanding standards set forth by Quark. The test consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. Results display on completion. We will send a signed certificate of completion to you through U.S. mail within 30 days.
Test preparation
If you want to prepare for the test prior to taking it, you may want to purchase QuarkXPress 6: Creating Digital Documents, the book from which the tests were developed.
Become a QuarkAlliance Certified Training Provider. Choose one of the following:
NOTE: If you purchase the test and book together to take advantage of the discount, you will receive the book within five working days and will have 45 days to complete and return the test.
